He was always rapid but had no positioning sense. At the time people wanted to turn him into a winger. He’s great now but he was extremely raw back then. I can’t remember anyone complaining about the £2.5M back then.

While we play Doucs as a false striker - you can't see the wood for the trees, mate .... we have 1 good fit striker & the other in Beto a league one striker we cant sell ..... great logic ....

Nonsense. At no point have I said we don’t need a decent striker. Everyone knows we need more quality across the forward line. I corrected you because you were using incorrect figures about selling Antonee Robinson and Lookman. Tom Cannon is not the answer for Leicester and I’m sure he isn’t the answer for us. Do you think he is? By the way we got £650k sell on fee for Cannon.

Yep agree with this, we could have brought him on and developed him but we went down the already established route. Same reason I’d be developing Dixon, he’s got to be the fastest defender in the Premiership.

Wasn’t he going to a foreign club for a lot more than that but failed a medical because of a possible heart condition which righted itself later on ?

Nice to see u16 Harvey Billington on the bench , he was the promising ginger haired full back who appeared in the pre season tournaments.
Another very young team too , only 3 2nd years in that whole squad.
