Full time U21s1-2 Southampton. Nothing special to say there, a few “ interesting “ performances , Tamen getting fitter and seems to be developing nicely, same with Gomes more touches of the ball , and again Clarke getting some minutes,showing he can use his pace at this level . But overall a fairly unexciting match, nobody for us really standing out.

Would be nice to see some of these guys get some time on the run in especially as we will be easily mid table. I`ve always thought that we`d be in a better position to attract promising young players that would be ready for first team games if we were seen to give lads that come up through our own system time on the pitch when we get a chance to.
