Everton Youth Teams Thread

It's a great site Youthhawk. Dig about and you can see our future fixtures for u21/18 s. 4 in each league , 3 at home in each if I remember it right. Think we'll need to beat Chelsea in u21 games to finish fourth , and to win the U18 league beat Man City at home and maybe win other 3 too. I think we'll have more people wandering in to this thread to discuss such possibilities as a relief from dismal results elsewhere.

Broadhead has had a good season - looks like he has kicked on a notch, some of his finishes and the way he sets himself up has been brilliant
Yeah he has, he was a bit overshadowed by Brewsters exploits early on but has steadily grown in confidence and stature from someone who looked like a good winger to a potential goalscorer / 10 type of player. Like many of our youngsters he's two footed , but with a preference for his right . As we often do , he's been played on the "opposite side" more than last season, allowing him to cut back inside from the left and shoot with his stronger right. There were some nice clips of his hat trick earlier in the season with a good right foot finish and I particularly remember Brewster getting fouled in the box, getting up and giving the ball straight to Broadhead so he could score his hat trick. Great team spirit , work ethic and togetherness in these youngsters .

Seen that, loved it at the time - players playing as a team.

Hope Broached gets a decent loan next season and goes out and grows a bit more, a full season of competitive football i have a feeling will make that lad go up another level.

Early kick off that - although not for the U18s I guess. I think we'll need to win every game left and beat City to have a chance at winning the league.

Brewser not to far away from giving us the lead on 9mins,ball up front, headed on from midfield and brewser beats the oncomming lfc keeper on the 18 yard box on the angle, but lfc defenders get back and clear his shot from infront of the line

0-0 11 gone
