Ashley bought Newcastle for about £130m, used the club to support his SportsDirect business, never funded it with a penny of his own cash, didn't have the 2nd highest paid board with 7th highest paid squad on his books, and eventually sold it for about £300m thirteen years later.

Completely different scenario to Moshiri who must be on the hook for the best part of a billion in barely seven years when you consider take over costs, player transfers, manager pay offs, stadium costs etc.

It's completely feasible that if we drop out of the Prem and lose the £100m+ a year TV money and sponorships etc he might want to cut his loses as fast as he can for whaever he can.

...more likely to hang around to see if Everton get immediate promotion than take a massive hit like that.

Oh it's clear. These fools have no idea what they want, how do they want change. They think a poorly written letter and a fee hashtags will hurry a billionaire into selling. I would laugh if it wasn't so tragic

Unfortunately all groups, forums etc will always be dominated by those that shout the loudest or spend every waking hour glued to their smart phone building their number of followers. Most of us don't want the limelight and sadly those that do generally can't string a sentence of more than a couple of words together. Guaranteed there will be so many on here more bothered about their profile player valuation and trophy points than they do about Everton. Coping with anybody who has a different opinion in a balanced and understanding way is very much a distant memory. Would love all Evertonians to come together and present a unified fan base but that seems a virtual impossibility. In all seriousness nothing will be done without fans acting together in their thousands at matches but the number of different action/supporter groups makes this really difficult to achieve. On a lighter note I too would put Chicoazul up as our figurehead, nobody wants it less, but nobody deserves our support more!!

Hence this thread, it's purpose is to find out what fans want and create ideas together on how best to achieve the goals together.

I dont agree with everything that is being said and done, but the bigger picture is a better Everton, so im willing to "fight" for that.
