The spice must flow...I would be shocked if FIFA, UEFA and the English FA took any meaningful action against the moneyed 'super clubs'...too many financially diminishing repercussions for those organisations' accountants to sanction recriminitive actions (other than mere verbal censure).

It's all about the money

Luke 22:3-6
Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. He went away and conferred with the chief priests and officers how he might betray him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he consented and sought an opportunity to betray him to them in the absence of a crowd.
Luke 22:3-7
And then hark, Jesus did appear. He displayed his hoop to the waiting crowd and did shout ‘Judas! Come hither and chew on thy winnits!’

Wow, just listening to it now.....Everton class as always.
No! All foreign business owners are in it for cash, including our dodgy owners. Every club needs cash but they should be controlled by national owners who are supporters.
Not being a small minded git here, but football is your club, your locality and your heritage. Moshiri, Glazers, Fenway etc. We are not a product, we are a way of life and you will NEVER understand. Do you think Everton would not be involved if we had just qualified for CL?

Don't get on your high horse Everton because foreign owners are not sensible in football. Blackpool, Brighton, Norwich etc. You are what you are and the better for it!

Really? To the cynical fans maybe. But from what I can see EFC has been applauded all over.

Playing devil's advocate even if we were wanting to be invited and were seething because we were not,
the response put's Everton on the right side of this when the scum 6 are the baddies.

Anyway I just sent an email to the club to tell them to make sure these teams don't go unpunished for this.
Like our fan base the club owners must be aware of our place in the Premier League, European and World football. We are a fair way from EL play-off game qualification. Sometimes ignoring the attention seekers is the better policy.

Moshiri is a British citizen and most of the board members are local.

I honestly think we are the most important club outside the big 6 to oppose this, history and money....
Our owners would be snouts in if we had qualified for CL Clubs should be owned by nationals who must prove lifetime support . Good or bad that is what football really means.

If there are no consequences, they will just try again later.

If all of the FAs involved punish the teams they may decide to move forward regardless.

The best outcome for me would be if the English teams are punished somehow with the foreign teams remaining unpunished by their FAs. That would likely break up the cartel or at least sow some division.
