Love LeClerc.
I've said for a couple of years now that he has otherworldly speed and is potentially a true tier 1 driver alongside Hamilton & Verstappen, just needed that extra bit of experience to round off the ragged edges.

Sainz right there in his wheeltracks.

Can't want for the race.
Yeah I’m of the same opinion. A lot seemed to forget about him. Hopefully Ferrari give him the ability to fight with Verstappen over the whole season.

He still crashes too much and is considerably more error prone than both Hamilton and Verstappen. Id put him in same tier as Norris in terms of natural talent, potential to be great but not there yet.

Good potential for fireworks between him and Verstappen.

Hope Hamilton doesn’t have the massive advantage of having a better car than anyone else. Would love to see the other British drivers to show what they have in a similar car, went off Hamilton when he dissed his own dad(who sacrificed lots for his son)

I agree, but he's only in his 5th season. All drivers need time to evolve to be able to race at 99.5% while keeping the big picture in mind. That's why Sainz was so close to him last season - not due to being faster, but just his extra experience was helping him get the most out of the car over a race distance and keeping him out of trouble more.

Lando is certainly good but I would have to see much more evidence that he can dice it with the big boys on a consistent basis before I rank him anywhere near the very top tier - which I like to think of as "generational talents".

Sets up for quite the interesting race tomorrow. The battle for turn one will be fun to watch.

Lots of racing to come. Can't wait.

Be interesting to see if Leclerc puts up with any of Verstappens aggressive funny business. If it was me I’d take the collision and let him know he’s not getting away with it this year. Don‘t think his bosses would be thinking the same mind given how competitive the car seems.

No idea why the Merc's have effective just wasted their first run on old tyres.. doesnt do anything for them and they need to nail their final runs now

And Russell's error has now proven very costly for him. Could have a very difficult Sunday afternoon from 9th on the grid.

Leclerc and Verstappen have strong understanding of how to go racing against each other, borne out of Austria/Britain 2019 races.
