Rule change coming for the Belgian GP to address the flexing issue. I don't know enough to know how much of a change it will make. @longers will probably have a better idea
Ah, it was originally the French, but I've googled and its been delayed to the Belgian GP as you've mentioned.

My mate was suggesting that the block, at points, flexed way more than the 2mm that was allowed at the measure points. This was meant to produce drag.

He sad that the measurement will be across the block, which will mean that Red Bull (amongst others) may not get the grip they've been able to produce.

Supposedly, the manufactures have started to make adjustments so it's not one big chance when required.

First steps towards Danny Ric getting yeeted at the end of the year ?

They just signed Palou as well who is top talent and won the Indycar championship last year

great news, comfortably one of the best tracks in the world, wonderful elevation changes galore
I remember the 1993 race there.

Uh.. not convinced about it myself. It's tight and twisty, not well suited to modern F1.
Liberty just wanting to expand its global base so having a race in Africa is a box ticking exercise.

Sainz is almost certainly starting from the back of the grid due to engine penalties. And Ferrari seem worried about Red Bull’s race pace too which seemed to be quicker than theirs.
I thought red bull looked good going into Sunday last race then the Ferrari was smashing it. Hard to get a proper read in practice sessions to be honest. Hopefully we get a good fight. Maybe Ferrari get pole but like you said max will have the better race pace.

Temperature is fairly warm over there still so interesting to see if it has any affect on the tyres on Sunday.

Lewis said he thought it was unlikely anyone will be able to 1 stop due to tyre degradation so that adds another dynamic. Hopefully Charles takes pole tomorrow as I worry if Max gets it he will just cruise it
