The Mazepin episode was ridiculous, trying to spin him coming last at his home GP into a win lol

It is what it is, entertainment for casual viewers and a great tool for attracting new people to f1. It's been incredibly successful and has played a huge part in the sports huge growth in the last couple or so seasons, especially in the US where the sport is growing at a crazy rate.

The show still has some attraction for more hardcore fans though due to the behind the scenes footage etc

I'll happily hold my hand up and say it got me back into F1. Used to watch every race in my younger days but hadn't really bothered for a few years but one hungover Sunday it looked worth a watch and reeled me right back in. I think this season has had a few good moments, I enjoyed the "rookies" episode as I think it did a good job of presenting the pressure, mental shift and work required that being catapulted into that elite level brings. The way it emphasises the drama right down the grid rather than being all about the Drivers Championship is also a positive.

Really don't need the Horner's At Home stuff. The excruciatingly fake chats with the wives and girlfriends needs binning as well - it's like watching Made In Chelsea.
 
The Duel on sky was good viewing. Forgot how good some of the early races where last season. Drama in a lot of them.

Can’t wait for it to start. Genuine hatred between the teams it seems.
 
Yeah, things are grim, but at least there's F1 starting back up. We'll all be cutting chunks of rebar into birdshot on Thursday, but don't forget that among all the other possibilities is the one where things actually work out. Meanwhile, new cars doing boss stuff, eh?

Here's a soundtrack for all you Gran Turismo addicts out there. I know you're on this forum. This young man did this in the depth of the Zoom video boom of 2020 - he did the arrangement and played all the parts. If you're going to be a working musician, you have to compete against him. Go do the work. This is total joy, said the old man.

I like to listen to this while watching F1 practice instead of the blather. Enjoy!
