Danny Ric to Alpine, Piastri to McLaren, will probably be the most likely outcome

Logan Sargaent replacing Latifi in the Williams should he get enough SL points, too

Talk is Piastri’s contract with McLaren has been rubber stamped by the FIA & they gave Ricciardo is marching orders after the GP Sunday.

I can’t believe dropping Spa is actually being seriously discussed. It’ll be pretty jarring if it’s to make way for another nothing ‘street’ circuit.

The risk has been there for years. They operate at a loss most of the time so it's up to the local authorities to make up the difference and with ever increasing race fees at some point something will break.

F1 bosses also want to have more races outside of Europe (whilst having loads of races in the USA - WTF??), if that is the case the Dutch, Spanish and French GPs can get punted for starters before they think about the Belgian one.

While I can see why Liberty Media want to exploit the massive potentinal of the US market, losing Spa would be a travesty.

Ricciardo is a proven race winner, so it's a stark reality check how brutal this business can be. Not that I'm breaking out any violins for him - I think he's done pretty well with his Alpine & McLaren contracts over the last few years.

Was never good enough to be a world champion as the last few years have shown, but a good bloke and on his day able to mix it with the best.
