Agree there they have goals all around the team.

Guardiola has done a smashing job there and I cant look past them waltzing the league again this year.

We’ve beat Leicester this season and were a Pickford howler from beating them again.

We’ve already beat Chelsea, who are currently limping over the line against Barnsley.

We just came from 2-0 down to get something against United.

There’s nothing to fear if we knock Man City out.

When we won in 95 we had nothing until the SFs against Spurs.

That's how we can win: avoid the big guns until the last stages. Even then it's a tall order - see Chelsea 2009.

We were a struggling prem side in 1995. Beat Norwich who iirc, we’re above us in the league at the time, Newcastle were a good team, Spurs were above us in the league and Man Utd also. Was a tough cup run imo.

City is an awful draw like. The worst we could have got. As much as I’ve been impressed with our spirit the last two games we ain’t got want it takes to win a cup at the moment. Back in 95 there was only really Utd to be feared. If you went into game fearing Blackburn or Newcastle then you may as well of packed it in. Royle had Liverpools number in those times.

we are always happy to help out its everton, like that player scoring 2 last night that had 1 in 130 odd games or whatever it was lol

We needn't fear it, but they are enormous mental hurdles for a team like ours to negotiate time after time in the same competition.

We could have done with a breather after Spurs. How is that so hard to understand?

A breather? We’ve had four successive home draws and played Rotherham and Sheff Wed before it.

It’s actually embarrassing the way you’re going on.
