The cup is important in building up confidence for the league.

I might change perspective on that if we see the likes of Liverpool, City, Chelsea knocked out in the next 2 rounds and we're still in it. Then it becomes realistic as an objective.

Breaking this abysmal run of form in the league is the most important thing, because if it continues any longer we'll be in real danger of relegation.

If that happens then we have to prioritise the cup.

Coincidentally all three of them got home draws in the next round.

No. Tbh I know they have a few herberts but their core support is sound. A good blue collar south London club who do a lot in their community. They hate us second only to West Ham and a lot of Palace (me included) grew up with this as the derby game. We hate them because their our rivals, not like Brighton who are clacker wielding mutants with no redeeming features whatever.

That’s very kind of you and appreciated AW. Our club does do so much for our local community, as I’m sure most clubs do. Very rare though for someone to see past the media caricature of us thank you. West Ham are indeed our sworn enemy and it runs deep all the way back to the rockets strike in Henry viii’s reign. Gotta say you got hell of a player in the boy Olise, and Conor Callaghan loanee but begrudgingly really appreciated his outstanding talent at the Den on Saturday. Wish you well fella in the next round ?
