I thought young Tony Gordon had another good game, two goals last week, an assist tonight. Maybe the people who have been moaning and saying the kid has no end product, might cut him a bit of slack now, I thought our new left back looked a bit out of his depth there Tonight, but, early days yet.

Kenny is so poor that I think Patterson has an easier task integrating into the team, people will tend to compare Mykolenko with Digne, Patterson will only have the 2022 version of the once excellent Seamus Coleman and JJK to live up to.

Anyway Everton for the cup.

I normally vote for Crab Iwobi as my MotM (because I feel sorry for him). But as he's not a choice today, I've plumped for Earwax Rondon (for the same reason).

Disclaimer. I have not watched a second of any of our brave lionhearts' games for a very long time

THe set up is dictated largely by the quality of the players available. You can't set up a chess board if youre missing half the pieces.
But those players can get a win after the starting plan is thrown out the window, for the 10th time this season?

Whatever is going on in training is a sham. Set pieces, too, are down to training.

It was a win, albeit by the skin of our balls, but it's really only delaying the inevitable unless he ditches that idiotic back-five routine. I know we were missing DCL, Richarlison and Mina, but we really should have had more than enough on hand to dispose of a League One-bound side with a little more aplomb than that.

Switching refs between VAR and non VAR games doesn't work. Prem refs have become a bunch of lazy ***** as VAR make decisions on their behalf. This bellend couldn't even give a handball where a player had his hand above his head when he was stood in front of him. He certainly saw it as you could almost see the little gerbil running around the wheel inside his brain as he decided on his decision.
An easy get out for him, no VAR...didn't have to make a decision, license to opt out of everything...the lazy, corrupt biff. The foul on Rondon not given was simply laughable it was so bad
