Awful today and getting sent off seemed such an obvious way for it to end. Never a yellow though. Capoue has shithoused him bad.

Tbh i actually hate him at this point.

I hate him more than Schneiderlin or Keane.

But thanks to our DOF we dont have any other alternatives.

Our DOF brought Gbamin and Gomes in during the summer and they got injured. Holgate is also a good option there.

Our same DOF didnt get us a much needed CB in meaning we cant move Holgate into the middle without us having to pair up & play 2 CB's who dont compliment each other whatsoever.

To @tim cahill's point though mate, I don't think you can blame Brands for JPG suddenly turning into the glassman and Gomes getting his leg broke. Think we still wanted another more dynamic CM but with Schneiderlin still on the books I just don't think it was an option.

Agree with you on the CBs though, we should have had alternatives for Zouma in the pipeline, defo a failing of Brands that one.

If we had an extra CB I doubt Holgate would've had much game time this season and he could've ended up moving on. It's a bit weird that your bringing Brands into this.

Im making the point its easy to slag off our options but its not their fault they are gash they shouldn't be getting game time in the first place.

But at present Schneiderlin is our best performing CM therefore should be played ahead of Delph who has and nearly cost us in our last 3 games imo.

Yes because Delph actually seems to live in a world where hes world class and the chip on his shoulder is actually a merit badge.

How he rates himself so highly is beyond me.
