Another duff buy. He does a nice twirl and would be a ladies favourite on a ballroom dance
floor but the idea that he brings know-how or can run a football game are jokes.

I congratulate him and his agent for his pension plan top-up but as a midfielder he makes a good lampshade.

Watford's second goal was down to him and he is prone to lapses of self-control.

I do think the sending off was harsh, to be clear.

The second - for me - is a booking but the first one he gets the ball.

But he shouldn't have gone in. And ultimately he was responsible for their second goal.

As @PhilRegan points out, he's atm the weakest link in the side. He wasn't good against Newcastle either. Sloppy passing, slow to turn, too many touches.

He's had two good performances - Wolves at home and then when he came on at St James' Park.

It's not good enough.

I am still more annoyed at him handing possession back to Newcastle giving them one last attack, than yesterdays dreadful showing.

He just isn't good enough. City used him about 3 times in 18 months and you can see why unfortunately.

I agree sending off was ridiculous but it was still a silly challenge to make, especially the area of the pitch and already having a booking in the bag. He should have known better.

His best game was against Wolves , but his best position right now for the team is the treatment table. We don't miss him in the slightest. I'd even have schnederlin ahead of him and that's saying something.

He's no Gueye, nowhere near him across the board. Nothing like Barry either sadly. Poor mans Phil Neville.

He lunged in needlessly while the opposition had pretty much slowed to a snail’s pace, so I can fully understand why the linesman flagged and the referee blew.

People may rightly say that the first wasn't a yellow, but that doesn’t negate the fact that he was on a yellow and as such should have been more careful.
