Garbage

He was amazing in the first year under koeman and was consistency our best player for the next year or so and was great again for the last 6 months of last season hence why he is now at one of Europe's best teams
 
My only hope is that Gomes back might help him in the centre as we are desperate for some defensive solidity otherwise i would play / rotate holgate and Schneiderlin in CM alongside Gomes for the rest of the season.

He suffered a lot from the formation he was continually asked to play, which both confused the midfield (as either Barry or Schneiderlin were doing the same job he was) and left him and the CBs exposed almost all the time by a combination of the daft possession based game and the fullbacks having to provide width. Now he doesn't have to do that he looks amazing.

He was a decent player, but he wasn’t a Kanye like some people had him down as
