The signings of Delph and Iwobi really should’ve been the end of Brands. The consensus of a huge number of Evertonians would’ve been not to sign them but this fella, on his millions o/a, apparently knew better.

I would have signed Delph, 100%.

Defo not Iwobi and I probably wouldnt have signed Bernie due to his size, all the others I would have signed if given a say.

You’d sign a ageing, known sick note on big wages?

Thankfully you don’t have any say on signings either, then.

Going to be stuck with this one legged idiot until his contract runs out aren't we, the guy's made himself very wealthy by doing not very much his whole career. Some players will call sick for the minor ailments while some would break their necks to play, we know which category Delph falls into.

Should be a clause in contracts where if you miss x amount of games your wages take a huge dip, I know it's only fanciful thinking but I don't know how this guy can look himself in the mirror and think he's earned the fortune he has.

He was signed as a backup in numerous positions. If Allan Dourcoure and Digne stay fit he’s not playing much. He’s still better than any of Davies Sigurdsson or Schneiderlin.

Delph needs putting to sleep. Not only is he finished, we will not have to listen to the garbage about his 'leadership' in the dressing room. What bloody use is he?

But he's never fit, I agree a fit Delph is a better player but he really can't be arsed can he.

I don't think his arsedness is related to him not being fit.

If we sign Allan and Doucoure he could provide useful back up (as well as left back) as he is not a bad player or anything.

I don't think he is that arsed honestly, picking up a fat wedge and calls sick if someone looks at him the wrong way, he has so many niggly injuries that cause him to miss games, he's not doing something right.

If we drop his play time to literally about 10 games a season and a few more in the cup he could be an almost viable option. He is pathologically unable to pass the ball forward however.

That's just conjecture though, certainly not the only one to jump to that conclusion though.

He has been exactly what we thought he would be by and large, a decent enough player who is barely ever available. If we can get him available for selection then he will be a useful asset, it's a big if I know.

Hopefully that would change with a midfield with brains who move for each other. It's been an issue for years that.
