2019/20 Fabian Delph

Has to be the worst value for money in the squad. At least other high earners like Bolasie, Tosun, Sandro have accepted loans. Sigurdsson will at least be fit & offer competition/rotation until he’s replaced.

If we can get him off the wage bill it will be a major plus.

Gbamin says hi... (I haven't given up on him btw)

Delph could easily be the one to stay.
On a big wage and a questionable injury record, there probably will not be that many takers.

He will now revert to the position he had at City, a squad player that can fill in a few positions when needed, but not expected to play every week which he just cannot do.

I think Gomes and Sigurdsson are more likely to be sold... because they probably can be solid.

I absolutely despise this fella. He’s the most average player in the squad. His attitude is vile, he thinks he’s the tits when in reality he is basic.

Been on the burnley forums this morning and they seem to think he’s amazing. They were on about putting him in as the central midfielder in a 433.

Feel like I should sign up and warn them but I desperately want them to buy him.

I would keep him as 4th choice until Gbamin is fit. If he only has to play a few games he could be ok however if Burnley make us a decent offer its worth considering.
