Even when on the pitch he's been very underwhelming, whether that's fitness or not - such a negative player.

I think it's becoming obvious that at City the pass was probably always on for him and even if he was negative in that team then it didn't really matter because the other 9 outfield players could make up for it. Now he's in a team where we are looking for him to be the main man we can all see his shortcomings.

He has averaged about 15 games a season in his career, so it's not a shock really.

No not a shock, just a shame that the gamble does not look to have paid off for the club or player. On the plus side, with all the breaks he's getting through injury, when he does play he's always going to be well-rested and ready to go.
