Tbf hard to pass forward when you have DCL and Kean offering zero movement / not able to show for the ball and hold it up etc.

I said for a while our midfield / CF problems inter link- we need a creative midfielder but we also need a striker to offer movement otherwise it will be sideways / backwards passing.
