I honestly thought this was a good value signing to soak some minutes, provide injury cover and bring in a veteran with a good reputation from a winning side to help develop younger players.

I never dreamt that his attitude would be a problem, but watching the matches it seems very likely that it is.
Always seems to be arguing with Pickford, if you watch carefully in games over the season

The new Neville/Barry (season 2 onwards)/Osman/Cleverley etc. who are totally past it/who never had it and somehow still get signed and put into the team to the detriment of absolutely everybody else. We just have to have one.

And to think some absolute belters on here reckoned Gueye was crap and totally ineffectual. wOn TiTlEs At CiTy ThO

Cannot believe Brands signed this clown, even at that price. Definitely the worst but he has sanctioned for us. His injury record is bad enough, but his performances have been appalling.

Would rather have gone for Mooy for a short term value for money signing.

Yep, mooy = quicker, has an eye for a goal, more mobile, more guile. And we get guys in like delph, Sig and snide who have none of these qualities. Great business Everton and good to see that the head of our recruitment is so f%&£#%£g useless.

He wasn't fashionable enough for some on this forum. Every time I've seen him play he's been good. Seems an important player in a half decent Brighton side. Not saying he'd be amazing, just better value than Delph for example. At least he'd be fit to play the majority of games.
