I was about to pen a note saying that if Allan Ball uttered the words "once everton has touched you... etc" then Delph has been vaccinated against the Everton virus (against his wishes of course). As he has never really been an 'Everton' player, since his arrival.

However on pondering the matter he is in fact the archetype Everton player of the last few years!
Lazy, slow, cant be arsed, injury prone, passionless, here for a paycheck, and completely lacking in social empathy.

Lukaku was drove out the club the fan base loved him ( minus a few tools like ) peopled got angered by Lukaku purely due to the fact he would open his mouth everytime he went on international duty.

The club could be doing more to force the issue. No squad number, tell him to train alone. Come to a severance deal.

Well the first two are more likely with Benitez.

He still has a book value of about £2.7m so severance would mean writing off more than we have spent already on transfers.
