His “day” is now about once in a leap blue moon. Which makes how good he is on that day irrelevant, at least in terms of what he contributes over the course of a season.

If this is just a general observation that there are racist people in the country then it’s a rather banal and pointless observation, I doubt anybody would disagree.

If you’re implying comments on here about him are motivated by race, then that really is sad to see. In fact, if it’s not a wind up then I’d say this is the single saddest post I’ve ever read on this forum. Have a word with yourself.

Distin got disgusting abuse on here and by other blues after his semi final back pass.

As it turned out it certainly wasn't .
But, if he wasn't constantly injured and was available as cover for full back and central midfield over the three years of his contract it would have been.

There was never going to be resale value but with a player who can play in two or three positions you are deepening the squad for relatively small investment..... of course you need the player to be fit to play.

As it happens I do think he will leave, he will get a package from us to leave and he then will move on.

The problem was though mate he was constantly injured before he joined us. I thought it was mad at the time trying to bring him in when we were rumoured to be looking at him, and it didn't need hindsight to see it was.

There might be some in the country but I don't think anyone here has shown that they have a problem with someone because of the colour of their skin.
Nearly everyone here has a problem because he's a bell who has made no effort the get fit , he's kept Everton fans at arms length and the only time he moves off his bed is the light another candle at his huge Pep shrine.
