They clearly didn’t want to spend on getting someone out of their contract, Even Spurs appointed Nuno.

Which begs the question...why spend money on players and not on a manager?

Then...why appoint this manager if you arent massively backing him?

Benitez is one guy who always demands money...

Demands money for signings?

he was in China for his last gig….,I think his priorities for being in a job have changed somewhat.

Because he thinks he the best man for the job. Benitez contracts something like 2-4 mil with loads of incentives. So that’s a good start. All we can do now is hope we sign the RIGHT players and shift some of the rubbish

Edit: Heard on a podcast it was 2-4 mil can’t remember which but other sites are saying 15 mill

At Newcaatle, Inter, Napoli and the RS he was constantly whinging about it. All through the media.

In China he demanded something like 16 new pitches to be built and all sorts of other stuff -- before he then jumped ship.

£2-4mil ? Where have you seen that?

Standard points. And that's not Mosh buying those players it's Brands and Walsh.

Who he hired. He also signed Tosun and possibly Iwobi.

Thats a far cry from going for Koulibaly when he first came in.

He did. Then fired. The price for Koulibaly went ridiculous and put every team off.
