Ok here's my take now. being serious..... So far we haven't set the window alight with these big signings we was all hoping for and splashing the cash moshri has promised. there could be many reasons/ agents/ players/ clubs all being greedy! We've sold stones for a good profit and replaced him with two center halves, maybe that's good business we will see. the lad from villa? I don't really know yet other than villa were crap. There's still time in this window to try and tempt bigger and better players and convince them which will convince us that the old Everton is a thing from the past, we have signed swanseas and Wales captain we got southamptons manager and Leicesters chief scout.... So something is right this evolution needs time and patience I guess but fans now don't always have it. So Everton 0 Spurs 5 pitchforks at the ready guys lol
Moshiri never promised a thing. There was a long game of journo telephone that led to people somehow believing he'd be spending 10% of his net worth on transfers in, like he's got every cent of his money sitting in some bank account somewhere. People went way out over their skis dreaming up fantasies and then when that failed to materialize lashed out.

Meanwhile there's three weeks of business left and the new manager's team hasn't kicked a ball yet in an official game. If the team is garbage there will be plenty of time October-May to complain. You don't get extra bonus good fan points for being the first to be for or against something.

I could be wrong but wasn't a £100 mill plus quoted in the programme for players mate?

We need a team before a Stadia!
Very true @Joey66.
We will remember very well the main reason we were able to take Harry Catterick fro Sheffield Wednesday all those years ago. That was THEY were more concerned with building a modern stadium, and Everton wanted to build a title winning team.
While Everton achieved their goal, Sheffield are STILL suffering the consequences of their actions by being a 'nearly' team over 50 years later, with only limited periods of relative success.
Everton, on the other hand, have had much success, but have managed to louse up their own chances of continued success with some fairly amateur decision making.
Cheatski were a prime example of the Sheffield syndrom in recent history, when Ken Bates wanted a first class stadium ( do you remember the old Bridge?), and it was the late Matthew Harding who actually built the team.
The stadium is a medium/long term project.
The team is NOW, and is needed to continue to attract top players by being successful, This, in turn, will attract fans to watch them when the new stadium is complete.
