Billionaire owner, 100 million to spend this summer on players. Exciting times. Linked with Mata, Witsel, Carvalho, Koulibaly.... only a matter of time before we splashed the cash. Nothing for weeks.

Stones goes for 47 million, and with a chunk parting ways for Barnsley, we are left with around 40 million. It's no coincidence that deals agreed for Williams and Bolasie, on the same day Stones does one, add up to around 38 million.

Same old Everton. Sell before they sign.
NO ITS NOT have some patience

Waited six months to have a moan have we?

I think it's far too early to judge, if he'd gone out and splashed £100m around would that make him a good owner? He went for Koeman when it looked a lost cause and spent big, same with Walsh, I happen to like the fact he stuck his neck out to get his preferred management team in place, far more important than some marquee signing. I also like the stories (though they are only stories) coming out over the stadium, all points towards a man of substance who knows how to operate, his business credentials are pretty impressive so give him time and see what happens, a season or two at least before starting the asset stripper cry.
