I have to talk to my brother later who told me it might end in tears as he was watching the BBC who were reporting the truth!

What I think happened is.

1. Moshiri has White's number and vice versa. Why? Because he's the face of TDD and he probably got it of someone to dispel the notion there was no money available.
2. Moshiri sent a few texts updating White.
3. This morning Everton and by extension him were a bit of a laughing stock and he had a brain freeze and thought he could fix it himself without first going through the PR department of the club.

People think these guy just because they have money are super intelligent people. The reality is they are just men with the right connections to allow them to make money.

There is a difference in writing transfer rumours, and just out righy lying.

People write lies everyday my friend, there are magazines reporting such stacked in supermarkets and newsagents. People very much do make a living from it. I'm sorry but if you take every news report as the truth then you need to re- examine why. It's not always the publisher sometimes its the information giver that spins the intricate web of deceit.

It wouldn't be so bad if the statement just didn't flat out make no sense...

Brain tells me it has to be false, but at the same time, the inaction is speaking volumes at this point. If it's a false statement (and the "watch this space" one was false), you'd think we'd have spoken out to protect our reputation and that of Moshiri by now.

Something about this doesn't seem right. Is it conceivable that someone stitched up Jim White hugely this week? 'Watch this space' being used and then this frankly laughable McCarthy thing really does seem like an Everton fan on the wind up. I don't know about the circumstances of how this would happen but it's not out the question

Definitely, someone has been on the wind up and Jim White has fallen for it big time. I heard Jim White on the radio yesterday when he read out the watch this space message he received from 'Moshiri', he went on to say that he hadn't met Moshiri but had been exchanging texts which just didn't seem believable. Can't believe Jim White was naïve enough to think the real Moshiri would be wanting to waste his time communicating with him.

No problem mate, didn't get me upset as I was the one making the joke! We'll be sound tho, the team already looks harder to beat and 7 out of 9 points is not a bad return so far. Have faith

Swansea City were so confident that they went out and announced the signing of Enner Valencia yesterday on their website, after he had already signed for us.

It's mostly driven by who you know and the social circle you build up. They honestly couldn't give a fig what we thought of them.

It's a fact that he has refused to invest so far. It is my opinion that we will not see any great levels of investment through equity in the future.

thinking about it, we had no reason to sell stones in the end, as we never bought anyone to add huge wages to our expenditure.

i was under the impression we HAD to sell stones so that we could buy 3 or 4 marquee signings?

is it pure coincidence we sell our prize asset, and then fail to deliver our top targets in the last hours of transfer day.

So we made a club record bid, sorted a plane out, sorted the contract out and then all of a sudden felt sorry for McCarthy?

Why is Moshiri feeling like he has to lie to us? This is simply the most embarrassing thing ever.

More importantly questions need to be asked as to why on deadline day we put all our eggs into this one basket late on when we should have targeted someone we actually wanted!
