I think Liverpool are negative because the investment is running out there. Year on year they spend more than most in this league and they're still no better off

Chelsea are onto it also.

Owners can't spend 100 mil every window will be bankrupt within 15 years max maybe 5 for some owners

That's one thing I'll say about owners. Your either a want to make money owner.. Or a success owner

Arsenal want to make money.. Whereas city want success so spend more money than they know they can ever make back. However you can't just keep doing it.

Perhaps Moshiri is a rich owner who's in the game to make money. He might not be that silly owner we wanted who's just going to throw money at it until we win

The signing of Walsh suggests he wants to do it being careful with what we spend

Happy to apologise for the error if the above table is inaccurate.

For Everton (if you include coaching staff)

Sacking old and hiring new coaching staff = £15m
Williams = £12m
Bolasie = £28m
Gueye = £7m
Stekelenburg = £1m
Valencia = £1.5m
Calvert-Lewin = £1.5m

Total = £66m

Stones = £40m (minus Barnsleys cut)
Undisclosed player loan fees = ?

Outlay = £26m

Am I wrong there? Doesn't seem to tally with quoted figures?

Didn't the Vietcong also offload a load of nobodies who they would have got money for though? They've normally got more players than sense that lot.

Thanks, terry.

I don't think the sacking and hiring staff counts towards official transfer money. That would be other spending

And Stones was 50. Whether we gave some to Barnsley or not, it's still 50

Big game being played here - Moshiri and Everton have deliberately not given Sky information over the transfer window, this is Sky's retribution.

Mountain out of a molehill.
You're constructing an implausible conspiracy theory to avoid facing the fact that the man you've lionised has made a very embarrassing faux pas or at least someone inside the club acting on his behalf has.
That seems almost certain to be the case now given that no denial has been forthcoming.

They do it all the time spend big on a flop and then get rid

They get lucky though because they always seem to re coup it
Yes that's what I mean too thanmks. They may have a load of players who aren't even getting pitch time, so the fans don't miss them when they're sold, but they still get a f ee for them.

NOw compare that with Stones, they're be arguments for and against whether we'll actually miss him or not. But he wasn't just anpother squad player for us, he was aminstay in the back four.

Thanks, Ted.

Oh flipping heck I'm sorry pal, you actually seem like a real gent. Iapologise. I'm still a bit lairy from some young punks who wanted to get fresh with me earlier on today, getting all up in me bidness. but they soon knew what flipping time it was heehee.

(It was about 20:30, around dusk)

Cheers.

Well that's very nice comment what a gent thankyou. Yes I work long and hard on my "do". All of the Tower Hill Crips - can I get a shout out? work very har d tooand follow a similar style. Apart from Wesley who is mixed race and has some what of a natural kink to his barnet.

Thanks.

Thought it was £47.5m with £2.5m addons? and Barnsley got approx £7m of it, so more like 40 not 50.

That's right pal, but the whole fee will be 50 brought in over all. Yes Barnsley are due some, but the official figure will go in as we have brought in 50 for him

OK, I'll accept your take on that but, would then say that whatever that table says it will end up with us having spent £26m on playing/coaching staff. It just puts some perspective on the minus net spend shouts?
