Couldn’t agree more. We may still not be hitting the heights we all hoped for but at least the days of not having a pot to piss in are a thing of the past. It’s taking longer than we all expected but then the landscape has changed with the clubs outside of the champions league all having a lot more money available to remain (relatively) competitive whilst the wealth of Man City has changed things for everybody. It’s frustrating but that is magnified with LFC finally getting their act together after years of spending at levels we never could. We have to remain positive and believe that Silva will be given the time to make it work. We've tried the Hollywood name, the goodison old boy and the relegation firefighter. Now we have a young, ambitious manager who needs time to get things right. If we turn on him now then we only have ourselves to blame if we are in another relegation fight during the season when we need to be securing the finance and planning for a new stadium.

Still cannot believe we have never properly replaced Lukaku and that is hurting us right now. Seen enough in other areas to suggest we are improving and today we should have taken the lead on a number of occasions. The finish or final ball was continuously poor. The final third remains our biggest problem as the defence (once Seamus is back) is improving.
