Needs to open up the chequebook in January. Finishing 6th would be massive considering the disgrace of last season.

We need a top quality centre forward coming through the door not some absolute bobbins like Barbosa/Tosun.

You really think Brands isn't scouting for that very thing right now?

You would hope so, but the centre forward position is the most difficult in recruiting the cream of the crop as a goalscorer is worth their weight in gold.

I just dont want aby speculative punts like Tosun which is what Barbosa is for me. We need proven quality regardless of the price tag if we are to progress.

Is he injured from standing on the ball on Saturday? Looked like he jarred his knee badly.

When we had him on loan, and his 1st season he looked like he would become a fabulous striker.

His touch hasn't grown but his physique has massively. I honestly wouldn't have him here if offered (not that there is any chance of that thankfully).

If you woke up on new years day and found him asleep / still bladdered under the privet hedge in the front garden, or on the step with a 'free to good home' label. It would take 2mths to get him fit and the blubber off him...even if he was of a mind to do it...and he still couldn't trap a bag of cement

Loads more if you google
Timo Werner ear problems
He can run 100m in 11.11 seconds

Swerve that utter German coward.

Hasenhuttl said: "He [Werner] asked to come off so I took him off. It is impossible to prepare your team for an atmosphere like this. There was a deafening noise [and] at the start of the game we were a bit affected.
"For me, as coach, it is important to see who I can rely on in moments like these, who is prepared to defend himself against what is going on on the pitch.

"To encounter such an atmosphere was too much for some."
