I honestly cannot really see what he has done wrong. He has generally backed his managers with money.

Unfortunately, there is just a general averageness that runs through this club's DNA. That is not to belittle what we did in the past, our history is amongst the best in the league.

But, over the past 30 years, the club has succumbed to a malaise of general crapness, bottling it on the big occasion, players turning in performances that they wouldn't get away with at their former clubs. I'm 31, and cannot recollect when this wasn't the case. The players, the manager, the club in general just have a loser's mentality.

Great family club, friendly warm etc. But in terms of football in the past thirty years, tosh.

I don't disagree. The issue is, the fans expect a proper style of play which involes the lawn as opposed to the stars. Yet his method is the only one suited to the current shambles of a squad.
Which is absolutely fine. I'm not advocating we bring Sam back.

What I'm saying is, a good manager should be able to find ways to achieve results with any squad put in front of them.

Now if this season consisted of sensible, tactically apt performances but we weren't quite getting results then I'd accept this was a season of 'transition' to go by the cliche... But it's not.

Were routinely, and quite easily, being dismantled both home and away, with absolutely baffling subs 80+% of the time and very little variety to the style that we try and play.

Simple things like the sheer amount of corners we concede hasn't even begun to be addressed.

No mate you are a oh well type.

I just dont honestly see the point in getting all upset about something for 30 years.

It doesnt mean I dont care, I love watching Everton win, its the best thing in the world, but honestly im not gonna beat myself up and get all upset when we lose, I couldnt bare being like that, it would consume me and would just make me a horrid person, kinda like you.

I think personal insults are childish, and if that is your best response fine, but you need to rethink the forum situation.

If I was in Moshiri's position I'd be patient and give Silva time as he'll almost certainly do but what I wouldn't give Silva this January is more net money to spend.
Funds were provided last summer and better players were bought but thus far Silva is failing to improve results. I'd insist on a sell to buy January and challenge Silva to prove he can get results if he wants more significant funds next summer.
Hope Mosh doesn't take that line but can't blame him if he does.

We need a striker... now not summer
