If I am honest with you, I think he lost a lot of credibility with his absolutely mad pursuit of Silva in the first place.

What credibility ? he has none, dont forget he got Sam in to do a job and sacked him after he did it, he wont care about sacking Silva who is clearly not up to it.

Not spending a penny was the best thing we could've done this window really.

Two biggest issues for me;

1. Lack of footballing nous.
- Apparent in my view from some very odd remarks (Sissoko/McCarthy) and his short term/flavour of the month appointments. Walsh, a chief scout was never a DOF.
-- Hopefully Brands sorts this.

2. Lack of real change at boardroom level.
- Nothing has changed, really. For the majority of his duration so far, it's the old guard, reshuffled.
-- Hopefully he can find a space/tempt Usmanov in.
