This. If you could guarantee success by spending money then everyone would be doing it. It is a risk and hopefully Moshiri is more patient than a lot of people on here and prepared to stick with it. Because if he goes you can be sure the next bloke isn't going to pump in as much cash.

It baffles me, it really does.

The man bought us, hes invested some serious money into the club in the form of interest-free loans, hes in the process of building a world-class stadium and we have people calling him a carpet bagger just cos he hasnt found us a holy grail manager yet.

The only owner in the league I would trade him with is the fella at City.

I know people are kicking off because they are emotional seeing how badly we have munsoned the start of this season, but I bet he is as upset as anyone at the situation. Without making excuses for Silva (because whatever we should be doing better) we have lost Gbamin and Gomes during this run of defeats and hopefully it will make a difference when they are both back and then had time to build up a rapport.

He is absolutely clueless in terms of running a Football Club though. More worryingly his choice of people to help him run the club has been absolutely abysmal. As for investing serious money I would love to see some evidence for that.

The fella will be hurting, not as much as us, but as I said before hes invested a serious chunk of change into us and a lot of it has been wasted. Wasted on wages for clowns, 52m alone wasted on managerial appointments, YES, hes the 1 making them.

He sacked Martinez when it was clear he didnt have a clue. Hindsight is wonderful and I wasnt a fan of any of them at all, but you could see what he was thinking :

Koeman, his stock was very high, he was being touted for the Arsenal job, a few murmurs for the Barca job, he was a well-known name in football
Walsh, proved he could find bargains, like Kante, Vardy, Gana for us, but was probably given a job he simply couldnt do
Sam, again hindsight, but I honestly felt like we were in big trouble
Silva, a young manager who played attacking football

But as I say, he wont be happy, his money has been wasted, the club sits in 17th and hes on his 3rd manager in 3 years, all that time at Arsenal, wanting a shot, he finally gets his own toy and it goes tits up. I mean hes a very wealthy man, so im sure it doesnt keep him up at night, but his pride has defo taken a rocking.

So hes not perfect, but we have Brands now and I know it seems flavour of the month to have a pop but hes a real footballing man. He knows the game and his track record suggests he knows players. Sure he made an error with the CB, that was the only thing missing from the Summer for me, but not even peak Baresi would help us in our current form.

Anyway, I still believe in The Mosh, hes not perfect, but hes everything I wanted from an owner, an owner who shares the same vision as we all do and is willing to give us the means to get there.

To be fair he has set the club back with his manager infatuations, but he has certainly invested in this club. Anyone arguing otherwise is being untruthful. He does need to defer to someone more football savvy though.

He bought the club on the cheap because Bill wanted to see the Club end up in good hands. On the pitch he has been an embarrassment as an owner and we still haven't seen anything concrete in terms of a new ground.

Desperately disappointing his period at the club, if you take away the stadium stuff, which we don't even know is happening.

If there was no stadium plan, the fans would be up in arms now at him spending about 400m and us now being in the relegation zone. A series of failed managerial appointments, one extremely dubious Director of Football and now a new one who seemingly also has no idea, and it appears that our current failing manager will get even more time to probably take us to the bottom of the table before he's fired.

He needs to act quick! Most, if not all, other clubs would have had Silva gone already. What it will take for him to be fired I will never known. So sad, especially since the gap between us and them hasn't been this big for over 30 years.

Picking a manager is hard, really hard.

Think of all the clubs who have good managers now, I mean I know hes struggling, but Poch at Spurs, Plopp at the vermin, now think of how many frogs they kissed to get their princes, of course some teams always get good managers, due to their standing in the game. But despite what some people think, the Joses, the Diegos, they would never join a team that hasnt won a trophy of any note in 32 years and who finishes 8th on average.

So we are left taking chances, in the hope that we find our Poch.

I mean we all have our own flavour of the month managers, my list includes Vitor, De Boer, Cocu, Fonseca to but a few, the only 1 who currently looks any good is Fonseca, but its very early days out of his Ukraine comfort zone. We all think its dead easy, you just pick a boss manager and he wins all the games, right?

He thought Koeman and Silva was the men for us, he was wrong on Koeman and its not looking great for Silva. Next time he will have some help, but as I say, its really hard picking a manager.

I’ve said something similar about Tottenham going through something ridiculous like 10 managers in 7 years or something. I still question Moshiri’s competence when getting involved with football decisions though.

Martinez is doing an excellent job with Belgium and likewise Koeman is doing a great job with Holland. They are both decent managers the common factor has been Everton and Moshiri in particular.

Dreaming about hitting the jackpot with a manager is ignoring the realities of the situation. We should of done better under Martinez and should of done better under Koeman. We need to stop looking for scapegoats and hoping for a miracle managerial appointment and make the best of what we have. Moshiri simply hasn't done that.

Yeah I keep saying that.

People always hold Levy up as an owner to aspire to.

Glen Hoddle, Martin Jol, Santini, Ramos, Tim freaking Sherwood.

As I say, its REALLY hard to pick a manager. LOL, the vermin appointed Roy Hodgson for Gods sake.

lukakus first press conference was talking about Everton being a stepping stone for him, literally used Rooney as an example

he wanted out the day he signed
He knew that there'd literally be no repercussions because of that imbecile of a manager. A proper one would have docked his wages and got him training with the under 12 girls. Phenomenal.

All the evidence is in the club accounts mate.

This investment, as well as the operating performance described above, was funded by a combination of shareholder injections via an interest-free loan, which reached £150m in 2018, and new borrowings. In accordance with FRS 102, the shareholder loan from Bluesky Capital Limited has been accounted for as equity. Bluesky Limited continued to support the Club post-year end with an additional shareholder loan of £100m received post year end.

I find this a bit baffling mate, you are blaming Moshiri for the fact that Koeman and Martinez crapped the bed?

I did feel we pulled the trigger a bit early on Koeman, but he was sinking, very badly, but Martinez was given 2 seasons in which we finished in the bottom half, he was given more than enough time.
