Moshiri has done more than anyone to try to resurrect our club than anyone in decades.
Everyone has a right to their views / opinions , but ffs have a look at this with a degree of realism.
He had a shot at the moon for instant improvement via Carlo , and we were all delighted (including the usual suspects who are never happy with anything !) . Then were stabbed in the back by that fella , but the attempt was great.

Agree, he's done nothing but TRY and make us better, there's been mistakes and then there's been shat on from a great height, hopefully he's happy to commit Futher and we get it right now otherwise, what's the effing point

I agree. I have little doubt that what he's trying will "work" eventually. I think it's a lot more difficult to break into the elite than throwing money at it and there was always the chance it could take a few years and some frustration, but I do think as long as he keeps trying and learning from mistakes, eventually it'll click with the right manager and we'll get our window of opportunity with CL revenue.

The manager problem, from the outside looking in, looks incredibly difficult to solve. Even when you get the "right" man and everyone is on board with the decision, he can still be poached by a Real Madrid after 18 months. We have no end of candidates for the vacancy now, yet of the ones we could attract, apparently they're all frauds according to the fans. But you're expected to deliver the next Pochettino every time.

I mean Moshiri or Blue Bill?

Blue Bill still being around is bizarre. Think that’s his only mistake Moshiri. You needed a clean break, give him honourary president or something.

Hundreds of millions, nothing but effort and nothing to show for it. Fella effectively saved us.

if you keep throwing the money Mate it eventually all falls into place

Five years of his ownership and Everton is still a mess. He never swept away Blue Bill and his delusions(that other clubs look to us as a example) he didn't appoint a world class ceo. He appointed a dof who clearly isn't allowed to fully control football matters.

There's no winning mentality from top to bottom, the over priced squad is a imbalanced missmatched hotpotch that's not fit for purpose and we wonder why Carlo Ancelotti left. This club is a dusty museum surrounded by formula One sports cars, it's run like a charity mixed with a "family club" and a owners plaything. And it's failing. Until we solve this we can keep changing managers or dofs or coaches but the root of the issue remains. There's an acceptance of failure from the top down. That's why Everton fail.

The “expected losses” comment was pretty telling. Whilst I’m not saying we should of went looney tune and believed we had a world class team, it’s that sort of thinking tho (expected losses) were games are lost before they start. I’ll never understand why it’s like that.

I must admit, every time I hear Carlo refer to us as a "family club", I wince a little. It's a polite, head-patting metaphor for "second rate", isn't it?

It could of been scripted mate. Maybe he was sincere I don’t know the man. I know what you mean tho. I’ve turned into a right cynical get as I’ve gotten older, approaching Victor Meldrew status.

when I see the tweets like “love my club” to those things, I squirm a bit.
