Blame this guy as much as you want. He’s nearly spent a billion quid on the club trying to improve us. It’s not him on the pitch.
Has the money been wasted. Yes. But at least he stumped it up in the first place.
People seem to forget before he was here we were selling our best players to be able to afford a loan.
Nah.
so which part is incorrect?
Perfectly putThe insinuation that it’s a good thing that he’s blown money, appointed buffoons (and extended their contracts) and breached financial regulations at the expense of our football club.
As bad as Bill was as an owner, he never ever pushed us close to being a couple of million away from getting a points deductionThe insinuation that it’s a good thing that he’s blown money, appointed buffoons (and extended their contracts) and breached financial regulations at the expense of our football club.

False dichotomy. We should have spent appropriate resources that returned at least some value, under someone who appreciated the need for investment while balancing responsible spending. I don’t think I’m alone in being genuinely worried about the financial state of the club and what it means for the futureso we should have spent nothing then and hoped for the best? You would be on here moaning we haven’t spent anything.
We aren’t the only club to have spent big money on crap.
