How am I deluded?Poor deluded child.
He tried it wrongly with koeman,
Did it again with ancelotti...
I'm not saying it's the right thing to do but he has previous for attempting it

How am I deluded?Poor deluded child.
The poll is a strange one in that you can answer it either way depending on your perspective.
For example, I'm pleased with the money spent, but deeply disappointed with how it's been spent. I'm pleased with how he seems genuine in his approach to the club, but disappointed about how much he clearly has zero clue about football yet still insists on shaping how the club works.
Rich doesn't equate to smart unfortunately. If he was wise, he'd have spent money bringing in experts to run his asset. He didn't, because he preferred to be mates with Jim White and talk about James McCarthy being family.
Anyway, I vote disappointed. Ultimately we got a richer Kenwright, and I'm honestly still waiting for Bramley Moore to somehow go wrong.
Does he actually have a long term plan? He tried to spend his way to the top and failed magnificently, i'm seriously worried that the board haven't learnt from their mistakes and things are just going to get worse in the coming years.
I dont see "a lot of money" being put into team building in the next few seasons.BMD is, what, three years away? He doesn't have total control over where this club is going to be then, in fact he has very little, but
the very minimum is that he keeps us in the Prem', and that will mean spending a lot of money.
What else does he have to offer?
He most definitely threw the kitchen sink at it in those first few seasons, even Allardyce was given 50mill in Jan to buy Walcott and Tosun, both given stupid contracts.£50mil a season net spend for me isnt exactly throwing the kitchen sink at it.
We are now hamstrung due to his own inability to appoint a board to achieve a goal.
Which of the board members fill you with any confidence they can improve the club?
Zero?
Ancelotti made the comments in his first real Madrid presser. Something along the lines of "some clubs demand success and some seem happy, even if you underperform". It was definitely a dig at our board and their lack of any real ambition. Moshiri is just in it for the money and will be happy as long as we stay in the prem.£50mil a season net spend for me isnt exactly throwing the kitchen sink at it.

He can continue blowing as much money as he likes. Good on him. He's shown he is incapable at running a football club. How am I deluded?

Then if someone else is, he is no better. Build the stadium and sell the club asap afterwards.Funny the way people still think he’s running the show.
Exactly what happened at Spurs..but they didn’t have to worry about getting caught in a relegation battle as they had a more than decent squad.I dont see "a lot of money" being put into team building in the next few seasons.
That I believe is the planThen if someone else is, he is no better. Build the stadium and sell the club asap afterwards.
In which case we face the prospect of bottom half football and even worse. So, how can Moshiri make a serious profit on hisI dont see "a lot of money" being put into team building in the next few seasons.
In the short term, I doubt it really matters all that much if the club finishes 8th or 14th, so long as they are a Prem side for the next few years and go into the new stadium assured of being one. Then, who knows what the TV deals will be like, maybe there'll be enough for Moshiri to make a pretty penny without the need for European football? Plus, if Moshiri is thinking of selling in ~5 years time he might not want to throw another £400m at the squad seeing how much of his money has been wasted already. It might be a case of spend what necessary to ensure no relegation, but no heavy or extravagent investment beyond that.In which case we face the prospect of bottom half football and even worse. So, how can Moshiri make a serious profit on his
investment?
He needs to have a team competing high in the top half of the table in its spanking brand new stadium to get the sale he wants.
Otherwise, what was the point?
I dont think that sounds right. In which case we face the prospect of bottom half football and even worse. So, how can Moshiri make a serious profit on his

Funny the way people still think he’s running the show.
