We will sell Richarlison to PSG in January for something like 60-70 million plus and then reinvest in 3 or 4 players (players we hopefully have lined up already). I have no evidence of this, it is purely a gut feel.

Something is lined up though based on Moshiri's confident sounding texts to Jim White. This just seems the most feasible scenario to me...

I also think that spending 1.7mil in the summer was part of the plan to reset the way other teams do transfer business with us. I.e
over the last 5 years it has been "squeeze Everton dry for our average player - they are loaded".

Now post 1.7 mil spend, we should be, "please take our 20mill for that player - we can't go any higher as we really haven't got a pot to piss in". Hopefully we have used this angle to do some deals already for Jan...

Id be amazed if we sold Richarlison for £60-70mil...'plus' would make sense...if its PSG then 'plus' should be £90-100mil.

Mourishi wasn't even at the game Wednesday night and instead hung the three other clowns out to dry to take the abuse after the game. Was probably having a cosy time in Monaco on his yacht with his best buddy Usmanov.

An owner Moshiri texting into Talksport saying that Rafael will be given more time... Embarrassing ... This knob prefers to use text to Jim White at Talksport to get his messages across rather than use official Everton channels directly to us fans!

Not good scene's at Goodison during or after the game Wednesday night with a lot of anger and frustration directed at the board. Fan run onto the pitch challenging the players which Gordon seemed to handle very well.

With the fixtures building up to Christmas, reckon we will see similar escalating scenes to what went on at West Ham a few seasons back.

A completely mismanaged football club from the top and its the top that sign off on all decisions below.

Juat read a great interview with Graham Potter in the guardian. Asked why he didn't spend the Ben White money on a new striker he says that it's not as easy as just throwing money at a player. He goes on to say-

“You’ve always got to provide a reason why players would come and play for your football club,” Potter says. “And if it’s just finances, then we’ll hit our ceiling, because 95% of the league’s determined by finance.

“So you have to provide something else: an identity, a style that players can identify with. Tariq Lamptey, Rob Sánchez, Jakub Moder, Leo Trossard: they’re getting opportunities to develop their careers, improve their own situation. And then if we’re going to go down that path, we need our supporters to really be on board with that.”

And therein is a massive problem for Everton. We can't say there's a style of football that will attract a certain player. We can't say with a straight face that young players will get opportunities to play thannif they went elsewhere. So what are we left with? "Here's a big wodge of money each week. Please play well." And that's why we're in the financial mess we're in now.

I know people on here have said they want Potter as manager but it'd only end in tears. Fans have absolutely zero patience and will call him stubborn for not resorting to hoof ball at the first pickle of a situation. Then soon enough will be calling for his neck.

The club needs to reorganise and compartmentalise - the football side left to football people, finance left to finance people, marketing and publicity to...you get the gist. I think there are too many stooges within the club trying to do too many things but ultimately feathering their own beds by telling Moshiri what he wants to hear. Essentially lip service.

If he - Moshiri - wants to be the owner of a successful club/business then he needs to start running it like one and take his lead from other worldwide brands by seeing how they operate. He is the major shareholder so he ought to have the veto on who is and is not on the board and what they bring to the table. He needs to be dispassionate and remove those who, whilst professing to be life long Blues, are blinded by their love of the club but incapable of running it.

Gone are the days when supporters made up Boards of Directors - the game is now an industry and Moshiri needs to now run the club, accordingly, rather than as a plaything.

It's time for a cull and a night of the long knives.
