To me, Moshiri is a typical passive investor/owner and he has treated Everton club as any ordinary investments. First, he hired individuals to run the club. Have advisors around him to advise him on footballing matters. In the end, everyone took advantage of Moshiri's money.

Personally, I think Moshiri is dumb to hire people, who has yet to prove themselves, in important positions. He is also dumb to pump in 100s of millions so easily without proper restrictions. I don't think his intentions are ill, just not very careful with his own money and trusted the wrong individuals.

Every football decision he has made has been a disaster, he interfers with everything from picking managers to buying players for me he is actually a worse owner than Kenwright and I have wanted Kenwright gone for years.
I think he is done with us on the football side he will stick with Benitez until the bitter end build the ground the sell up for a profit.
I agree I doubt we see him at a match again he has broken his toy and is now just going to play with the box

Yet he continues to do it. Wrong people in the wrong jobs still

No structure, no one doing what they are meant to do

No one knows who buys the players still

Agree he is treating the club like an ordinary investment - however that strategy seems to probably have worked well for him in other areas of his business life which is why he repeated it.

So the question is why has this strategy failed at Everton?

My instinct tells me that running a football club isn’t the same as one of Moshiris ordinary businesses - you can’t simply use your connections with your mates and employ the relevant staff to turn failure into success.

I disagree that Walsh and Brands or even Koeman hadn’t proved themselves elsewhere or are ‘con men, - actually they had proved themselves elsewhere. The issue is far deeper than that of who you employ in a football club.

l don’t think anyone has really conned him or taken advantage - because I just can’t see how realistic it would be to be able to con a billionaire out of hundreds of millions or sending the team on a 5 points in 30 run.

He just doesn’t understand strategies that work well in business aren’t necessarily transferable to a football club.

I would rather stay at Goodison, and have been very consistent in that.

The stadium is not priority. Football is the priority. I'm not arsed one bit if the stadium happens or not.

Unfortunately it is - you've seen what financial prowess WHU now harness by moving to the Olympic Stadium and Spurs will also benefit long term from their move.

Clubs like Wolves, Leicester and Newcastle planning expansions we simply can not be left behind.

People ultimately need to accept if Walsh and Brands spent that £450+ million correctly no one would have a reason to criticise the Mosh Man as we would be top 6 with quality players.

Moshiri appointed these people so he is responsible.

West Ham have hardly spent enormous amounts either. Almost every team who have moved to a new ground have regressed after it. There is no evidence a new stadiums moves us forward. The precedent from other clubs is that it actually makes you less competitive.

I would happily stay at Goodison and focus only on football.
