I’m not buying that he’s well intentioned either. He’s a billionaire, billionaires aren’t well intentioned. Everything he does has an endgame of self interest. People acting like he’s this saint sent down from heaven to gift us a new stadium for the fans, nah get out of here with that. He’ll be off with a fat profit in his pocket off the back of it, and we’ll be left the pick up the pieces of a decade of his mismanagement on the pitch carrying around huge debts from said stadium.

He got three right imo, he got rid of Martinez when Bill would have given him a job for life even if it meant relegation, and also hiring Koeman wasn't a bad decision. It turned into a farce in the second season because there was 4 - 5 people trying to influence transfers and we ended up with one of the most uneven squads in the league. Hiring Carlo was a scoop, he left though and not really a failure (although 2nd half of last season was awful).

Silva, Allardyce, Benitez should never have been near the job.
Walsh and Brands shouldn't have been hired if the DOF model wasn't going to be properly implemented.

He could fly straight into Liverpool from nice or any of the small airports dotted around the south of France.
