Anybody know what our debt stands at and who we are borrowing from - is it all/mostly Moshiri ?
I heard that is the case but no idea if it is true - at the time Man City had a new stadium and were probably no less marketable world-wide than Everton (sorry to say but that is what it is since the 90s when PL was globalised).Bill didn't care who he sold it to as long as he was to remain in a position of relative power. If he didn't care who he sold us to we would be Man City right now.
There was a dominant ethnic tribe that where behind the bolshevik revolution. These people held power for decades in the soviet union.Totally agree, but he's rare. Not many people are gifted a couple of billion pounds.
So from that I take it we are haemorrhaging money but our debt is pittance due to Moshiri.Everton make annual loss of £139.9m as Covid-19 takes toll
Everton suffered a loss of £139.9m in the 2019-20 financial year and have proposed a new share issue to the majority shareholder, Farhad Moshiri, worth £250m to cover the losseswww.theguardian.com
I agree there are probably more 'lunatic' billionaires out there than you would care to imagine. Especially in today's society which is far more 'wild west' financially than years gone by.There was a dominant ethnic tribe that where behind the bolshevik revolution. These people held power for decades in the soviet union.
When their power was taken back by the Russian people in a last ditch attempt to hold power, this ethnic tribe who was dominant went from removing their outright dictatorship from the back of the Politburo to an oligarchy.
Usmanov as well as Abramovich where indirect benefactors of this change. There is a case many people under this circumstances got 'gifted couple billion' for nothing.
The sources of Moshiri's wealth in my opinion is being made partner in various lucrative businesses and being in the right place at the right time. That's not to say he does not have guile and done well for himself.
But personally I am very hesitant to give him great credit as a good business man, more of an opportunist who's took this outlook into football.
It's evidenced by Moshiris total disconnect from reality. The average person looks at him with total confusion over his decision making and thought processes. To him he sees nothing wrong. Wouldn't want to speculate but god only knows what they think about other matters of life.I agree there are probably more 'lunatic' billionaires out there than you would care to imagine. Also in my opinion, you don't become a Billionaire without being a total psychopath or sociopath. It's evidenced by Moshiris total disconnect from reality. at a very base level yes!So from that I take it we are haemorrhaging money but our debt is pittance due to Moshiri.
Interesting turn of phrase you use!!There was a dominant ethnic tribe that where behind the bolshevik revolution. These people held power for decades in the soviet union.
