Don't mind the protest.

Do mind the "No Pereira" shouts though.

If Mosh changed his mind and brought in Lampard and we still went down...who do we blame then? Still Mosh?

Only if you believe Lampard and Rooney could do anything more with this squad than the last 5 managers have.

We're 16th in the table - fans want a DOF of good quality coming in like Ashworth - he aint leaving a club mid season to come here.

Fans want a football man to bring in the next long term manager and not Kenwright or Moshiri handing out 3-5 year deals to just any old bluffer - well until we get a DOF in thats what we would be doing if the owner doesn't get a short term appointment sorted until the seasons end which looks to be the case now.

Pereira is simply a placeholder like Alladyce was - the acid test is what Moshiri/the board do between now and next summer in terms of the DOF/Recruitment/next manager after Pereria.
The difference is, Allardyce was never getting relegated from the position we were in when he joined. I wish I was as confident of staying up today.

Benitez and Moshiri, a great win double to have started the season, now he's going for a 3x double with Pereira added to the bet.

Moshiri didn’t listen to the fans that were mostly against Rafael, but these protests are at about the same level of discontent, if not worse.

If he makes the call to overrule pretty much everyone else, it’s unforgivable. Reports still vary a bit, but leaning towards Lampard being ruled out and Pereira close to being appointed. When there is smoke, there is fire. And we’ve got the biggest dumpster fire going right now.

If its to be Pereira I'll say say the same as I said for Benitez. It's an appointment that doesn't fill me personally with confidence - he'll get my full support.

Anyone who comes in has a real task stopping our free-fall. Worse thing is, it's not even a free-fall, it's managed decline that has finally caught up with us. Results aren't a shock, performances aren't a shock, the lack of standards aren't a shock, we're rotting top down.

With numerous failings to go off, it's a long-shot to think our board have the foresight to appoint someone right. Worse case, but very realistic scenario, a manger who'll help build the club up - even if its in the championship.

We however seem hell-bent on appointing another payday manager - a casual word in Moshiris ear by Kia is all it takes.
No long term aspirations, just jumps from job to job, short-term-ism strikes again.

He f*cks up, he f*cks off.

Who knows - hope I'm wrong

If, as reported, Moshiri is making unilateral decisions I wonder whether Bill is now regretting his decision to sell his shares to him.

Seems like Kenwright’s and DBB’s positions on the board are almost untenable if they are being completely sidelined.

Yes

its pretty much all at his door to be fair.

Mistake after Mistake after Mistake

It's a collective IMO and a fine line.

If Ancelotti hadn't have left...I don't think we're in this position one bit.

We've employed people not good enough for the jobs handed.

It's what the 27 Years Group want to do....give him a slap to get some actual footballing people in.

I just want Moshiri to listen to the fans for once.....I'm sure 90% of the fan base would rather Lampard than Pereira.

It's too big a gamble to not listen to the majority and sign Pereira and just creates even more friction and hate before we've kicked a ball with him in charge. I beg of you Farhad, bring in Lampard!

Thing is....Lampard must be horrendous at being interviewed because he's been out the job a year, only linked with Nowrich (which he left) and us. Yet can't persuade us to believe in him.

Villa would've rather paid compo to get Gerrard from Rangers when Lampard was unemployed for example.

Lampard is just a more branded pair of shoes but still full of holes.

I bet it does, he can see more then anyone what Moshiri is doing, it's the nightmare we always feared would happen with a new owner.
We just have to pray we can stay up until the ground is done and he sells up, right now I really fear we wont
