He has had Randy Lerner written all over him for a while. Never had a clue from minute 1.
Lerner seemed a solid owner tbf until the banks went belly up which affected his business and then it went badly downhill. Villa were consistently around the European places with Moyes's Everton and had built a good side under O'Neill who was well backed.
