I’d sooner have someone try and fail than someone not try at all - I don’t think anyone can knock the guys commitment.

I’ve seen countless reminders on here that he’s “clueless”, that may be true and might be why he’s put his trust in other “experts” who’ve let him down - not sure with the scale of failure all can be attributed to him.
He's a clown and he's ripped the heart out of this club. Billy Liar was bad hough, but, at least we weren't a laughing stock under him. Moshiri is an egotistical lunatic.

Who are these experts? Brands? Walsh? kia Joorabchian ?

In comparison to a “clueless” Moshiri? Yes, they, together with Bill and the managers he hired must be considered “experts” unless you believe they were all scooped from the amateur game? They evidently didn’t perform but that’s exactly my point.

Moshiris big problem is he takes his football advice from Kia Joorabchian. Kia destroys football clubs, every club he has been involved with has ended up in trouble. loads of our signings in recent years have links to Kia or have had previous links to one of his side agency/contacts. Nothing will change until someone can convince Moshiri to give him the boot.

Bill and the managers he hired... who are the managers Bill hired? Marinez and Frank? What about the ones Moshiri hired, Rafael and Silva?

He wont, they are washng blood money and were the machine to do it, dont forget the fans who are on Bills back want these two getting more power at Everton, once that happens we are another Portsmouth

I don’t disagree with this at all, the only point I’m making is that it’s not all on Moshiri - he has to put trust in people and thus far they’ve let him down but I can’t fault his commitment.

Maybe I poorly phrased, I was referencing the managers Moshiri hired, not Bill - in general, I mean all football people brought in have to be considered experts compared to Moshiri.

See what i think Moshiri has done is meddle because at Arsenal he wasnt allowed to be involved, so as soon has it got a chance to have a say he wanted to be the big boss but he was making calls with zero experience behind him, its cost him money but i dont care about that, but its killed us, slowly

That could be true, but without evidence it’s purely speculation - I have enough experience with boardrooms that tell me it’s incredibly rare that someone just makes unilateral decisions without the backing of most in the room or at least not without some reasoned discussion - I accept a football club will be significantly different from my experience (property solicitor) but I just can’t see him strolling in and saying “we’re buying x” without discussion and IF he did, and those “experts” didn’t speak up then I’m right back to them letting him down.

I as no doubt many other Evertonians would love to know who made the decisions (jointly or otherwise) on all of our signings both players and managers but I’m not sure we’ll ever get it.

Actually, he's killed us pretty quickly when you think we'd managed nearly 140 years before he came and it's taken 6 years of him and his fat mate to bring us to this. I'm not staying things were rosy when he came in, Billy Liar had been selling off our assets and allowing odius toads like Green in behind the scenes. I also think that the only reason we waited so long for a buyer was because Moshiri was the first one who was prepared to let Bill stay at the controls of his train set.

The cold hard facts are, no matter how bad you think Billy Liar is and personally I think he is pretty bad, he has not even come close to doing the amount of damage that this Iranian lunatic has done in 6 years. I'm not worried about the new ground too much now I just want this Persian plum as far away from the club as he can go as soon as he possibly can, because, if he stays around for too much longer he will finish us off all together.

Personally,Ithinkit is a stretch too far to think any of the current and previous Boards under Kenwright held properly constituted meetings with minutes taken. Our apparent lack of governance at this level has been woeful. That is without getting me started on whether or not we have ever had a documented Business Plan and strategy with objectives identified.
I have formed the view that Moshiri got lucky financially, mainly due to his association with Usmanov and the situation which prevailed in Russia under Putin. There is a big difference in trying to replicate this success with an English Football Club which was already badly run.

He's an easy Iranian scapegoat when the truth is Walsh, Brands and Kenwrong have all let him down and been equally as culpable in the current mess we are in (and previous managers and lets not forget these coward players).

Not saying he hasn't made mistakes or doesn't deserve flack in the appointments of those individuals but he takes an equal share of the blame for me whereas a vocal somewhat unhinged minority of our fans act as if he has made every single decision and signed every player himself in which no one else is to blame when he hasn't - he's spent most of his time in Monaco.

In hindsight he has been trigger happy with sacking managers but our fans were wanting said managers sacked at the times of their departures. He'll no doubt be blamed if Lampard doesnt work out despite 90% of Evertonians wanting Lampard to have been given the job out of who was available in January.

The abuse he takes I wouldn't blame him for pulling his dough out and letting us implode financially as thats what would happen if he decided to put away his chequebook.

Hopefully his faith in this new DOF pays off and he can sort out the recruitment as thats been the main issue at the club going back as far as Martinez's 2nd season.

We had a decent summer in Silva's 1st season iirc but even then in hindsight only Richarlison and Digne were permanent deals that have proven a success.

Moshiri will cost good people their livelihoods if we go down.
For all your bluster, just think about that.
