Someone just posted on twitter about a guy called Matt Slater, finance journalist on the Athletic. Saying moshiri has promised exclusivity to several groups

For all his faults Farhad get's a lot of stick and not much love from us. So what if he's meddled in transfers? It's his money that has allowed us to continue. Not many of us could foresee the shitshow that has followed managerial appointments and bar Benitez most were on balance probably in favour of getting them.
He's responsible for getting us a brand new 50k plus stadium on the waterfront that we could only dream about a decade ago.
The importance of this cannot be underestimated. Without him - and maybe Uzzy - it wouldn't be getting built and we'd still be hoping Goodison gets safety certs so we can carry on playing there until a mythical sugar daddy appeared.
It's a massive gamble from him and I for one am very grateful to him. Last year could have been a disaster - but we have to trust his appointment of Lampard will push us into Europe. I hope he isn't selling the club.

I regularly drive past a part built stadium in Valencia, don't count your chickens.

There are reports that he is considering retaining 10% of ownership but unfortunately it's not definite the yank have an exclusive period to examine the books and potentially make an offer so they're in the driver seat. But like you I hope it be a different group. I don't mind if it's Americans but this group seems particularly shady

He reminds me of someone who buys really expensive camera gear, hangs it around his neck and calls himself a photographer, but struggles to work out how to take the lens cap off, never mind shoot a decent photo.
Now he has to sell the gear and hope he gets his money back.
Meanwhile, we are all left with a crappy collection of out of focus photos of his left thumb and a badly underexposed picture of what could be the Arteta money.

Its pretty unusual for a buy out plan, announced/dripped to the press, to have much legs. Chelsea was different, obvs, and even the Newcastle one was all that Stavely woman, until Saudi packed in the piracy stuff.
