We are stuck with a man who is building the club the new ground we always wanted in a location that everyone on here loves…..

The only thing we've done in years that lives up to our great name and something that will be a benefit to us long after Bill, Moshiri and I (being someone in their mid forties) shuffle off this world. Ideally we won't get relegated but even if we did we will still be better off than the years of mismanagement that came before where we were a million miles from competing and stuck going nowhere.

We will have hope we can become a force again because we'll have the evidence we are a forward thinking club not stuck in antiquated ways right there front and centre of a new look city waterfront.

What????

Think about it, if Bill never found Moshiri or anyone else who would have kept him on then he would have continued to have pawned off every last asset and as our performance dwindled we would have ended up much the same way as we are now, only probably faster and even worse for wear. Without the stadium we would most certainly be in a more perilous position to try and attempt to recover.

So you are giving credit too Kenwright for finding Moshiri and giving us a stadium to help get us out of the mess Moshiri made of everything else, I see your point.

You can take it that way if you want, it really doesn't matter. Whoever we apportion the blame to we've failed on the pitch, I think Bill is more to blame as he is the one on the ground and if he was so wonderful at his job then he would have been able to prevent certain. things. This means he was actually causing it or going along with it.

Anyhow that is by the by the point is Farhad (& Usmanov) were probably the only people who would have gone that big in terms of ignoring the fact it will cost one hundred million just to get to the point we can start building there. Anyone else would have looked at the state of our club, our likely value and we would be in a cheaper generic stadium in stonebridge cross or Kirkby or wherever but not where we will be. Generations of young blues will have a sense of pride the older blues have had in the past when Goodison was one of the finest stadiums in the country. Anyone who was born after say 1993 won't have known that.

Moshiri clearly does not know to much about football . That’s why he had a board and the so called directors of football to help him understand football matters . They have failed him simple as ! The money was put in to the club in good faith and I’m sure in his worst nightmares the poor recruitment and mismanagement of the club was not even remotely possible . Give the man a break FFS !

Give him a break? Everton will be relegated this season and you want to give him a break? WTF
You are right he doesn’t understand football, which is why he should have stayed out of everything to do with the squad, but no, he wanted to play Championship Manager with a real side, and has killed it stone dead

Like I said he appointed people to run the club - they are the ones who have let us down. He just provided the money that’s all been wasted and then FFP stuck the boot in .

His biggest error was letting BK stay on as chairman and run the club. It has created division by establishing two powerbases at the club, his and Kenwright's, which has led to uncertainty and chaos because no-one is certain who making the important decisions. The board are now comprised only of Kenwright lackeys as the members appointed by Moshiri have left. It seems that Kenwright's will has prevailed and now Moshiri has given up on Everton and will sell up after the stadium is done.

It's a complete and utter mess. The biggest favour he could do the club before selling would be to get rid of BK and his stooges once and for all. Hopefully bringing MSP on board will allow that to happen.
