This should the most exciting and nostalgic season for Everton yet in all my time even the Johnson years don't compare to the negativity surrounding this great club.
Maybe amplified by modern media in 2023, but Everton should not be no goals scored conceding five after 2 games.
First time in 30 odd years for the most part not wasted money on Everton bet, I see nothing this season and there has been some dross I've hung onto to postivs in years past.
Terribly sad what we have become literal joke on how not to be a football club.

That's his problem he has been a success in business. But football business is very different. You have to account for emotion and feelings of the fan. The Benitez appointment was sound business but made no sense to most people in football given the history. He has not adapted.
