If, and it's a big If at this stage, Friedkin clears the majority of the debt, then we have got a new stadium technically for nothing.

He also brought Ancelotti and James to Everton. He deserves some respect. Plenty of owners have taken clubs to the wall and tried to wring them out for every last bit of cash on the way through the exit door. He tried, lost his financial backing and couldn't keep up thereafter. It was a set of extraordinary set of circumstances that brought the club to its knees, he could have made better decisions for sure, but I'm equally sure he wasn't thinking it was going to go THAT tits up.

Massively wrong. He brought in Ancelotti and James?!?! Who cares? They did nothing for us. I just want to win. If it’s with complete no names I could not care less. In fact I’d actually prefer it because people get weird about “names” as you are here. If someone isn’t staying for at least five years we don’t want them. That some show pony who only wins with billion pound teams was here for a cup of coffee is meaningless to me.

Can’t wait until this criminal is officially gone from our club.

The stadium will ultimately be his legacy but he can never be forgiven for letting Ancelotti slip a get out clause in and then thinking the FSW was in any way a suitable replacement not to mention letting the club get into major financial difficulties with expensive loans that nearly landed us with crooks

I can’t hate him.

BMD, huge investment, Ancelotti, Marco Silva, even around Koemans time, he tried to bridge the gap and it failed but it’s all fine margins…he tried to have a go.

Lots of mistakes along the way but if he sells to Friedkin I’m willing to forget and look forward to the future.

Honestly I cannot understand why anyone thinks a manager being here for basically one year is an “accomplishment.” It sets us back. It’s a big part of why we are so bad. Constant resets. There’s no point having these “names” unless they stay and (please listen to this) actually win with us. Otherwise what good is it?!?!? So baffling to me that anyone would care that some “name” came here and did nothing for a few months. It’s so weird.

His biggest fault was listening to Bill.

Should have binned that sack of turds day one.

Thanks for the memories aka mental health issues
I'd say Bill is the main reason Moshiri didn't work out, money was wasted royally and he held us back. Funny thing is in time Moshiri will be looked back on more fondly than Bill and even though we've been crap on the pitch mostly he's left us a cracking stadium and moved us into the future as a big club with that. All TFG have to do now is turn it around on the pitch and clear some debt

You miss the point and quite spectacularly.

Koeman at the time had just had 2 x top 7 finishes and a top 6 finish with Southampton. He was a much sought after manager and there was links to top clubs. Moshiri brought him here. It didn’t work out for multiple reasons.

Silva was a bit more of a gamble but highly regarded.

Ancelotti is Ancelotti and doesn’t need explaining.

The whole point is, Moshiri tried to take us forward.

I gave names as an example of how he tried to take us forward.

The list of players we bought under him, and just before. Christ, I don't know any other club who spent so much, on so many duds. Every club before us who threw serious money around had something to show, whether it be world class players, cups, or both.

We got points deducted and nearly went down, twice. Proper 'Everton that'.

My head is trying to be sensible and say thanks for BMD and the time under Ancelotti. But my heart says that after what we’ve gone through under your ownership “Goodbye, and you won’t be missed you Syphilitic Pant Pole 👋
