Just double-checked on IOM Companies Registry and the charges still exist.
The particulars of the charge relate to a call option, but the exercise date is not on the public record - I went into IOM Companies Registry to make sure that what can be accessed online is all that is held by themselves and therefore in the public record.
The charges appear to show that the money for the share purchase is available and if you read the particulars of the charge, they have been filed by the Escrow agent (Appleby's) rather than directors or the chargee.
So it would appear that the money is sat in Escrow.
May be wrong but that's my take.

It's a database of people and companies named in the Panama Papers leak, our new majority shareholder is linked 9 times in the leak.

Hopefully it's all above board and legal, and as I say I'd have been more surprised if someone that rich wasn't linked to it. However let's hope there's no blowback for people named in it.
