NO!

I do mate, every single day, back in the day my Auntie was the 1 who took me to football, shes a vermin so she took me to Anfield a few times, I hated it, so to her credit she took me to Goodison and that was that.

Mate. If I was you I'd rip him every single day without mercy. You give them an inch and they take a mile. Kristian Walsh being a perfect example.

He's the fat Kopite who's head of the echo Everton section, no doubt in my mind half the [Poor language removed] they come out with is him on the wind up
I believe Greg O'Keeffe is the Everton editor and Kirkbride does the main beat reporting that he used to do. There are a couple of other blues who chime in on the podcasts as well.

I quite like Kirkbride - he seems to be the most reporter-y of the lot of them. 'Prenno' is a dinosaur who likes his elder statesman gig too much and I lost some respect for O'Keeffe when he lifted a few uncredited chunks off other sites for stories. (Seems a sound enough blue however.)

'Crystian' Walsh and some of the other tits on the paper seem to have a rota to do the ridiculous daily 'breaking news' round-up which tends to degenerate into repeating each others' stories, click bait and random in-jokes and Youtube videos.

Having said that, journalism is just eating itself these days and I do have a lot of sympathy for anyone still in the industry. Everyone is rewriting everyone else's stories or being controversial for the sake of clicks. Get an 'exclusive interview' and within five minutes of it going up, half the sports sites have published a transcript of it.

Regarding Moshiri, I can't see the local press getting any decent tips or stories just because they don't have the prestige to do so. (As opposed to some of the better-regarded national paper reporters.) Part of that is just the way it is these days - people consume places like GOT or Twitter in preference to the Echo just because you tend to hear news in a way which fits in more with your lifestyle. And part of it is that they may have lost contacts and respect by being Everton's willing Pravda for too many years.

You're supposed to beat that out of them you wimp.

Well hes 16 years younger than me and only a half brother, years ago when he was very young I took him to Goodison a few times, bought him an Everton kit and that and I was winning the battle, but his dar is a kopite and I felt bad, I always thought how I would feel having a son who supported a different team so I backed off and let his dar win, despite them both being kopites, they are good people, neither are horrible kopites, they never give me abuse when we lose, on the other hand I destroy them whenever possible.
