Maybe, the Moshiri project certainly won't have made it easier for themm
If dowell, holgate, Pennington, Davies etc are good enough they will make it. Hopefully watching and learning from Koeman and from players in training of the stature of scherderlein, witsel, mata will make them better players. If their improvement doesn't warrant them first team opportunities, they will still be better for the experience of learning from these players. Just imagine dowell watching, training and learning from mata. That experience will be invaluable to the lad. If he doesn't progress to the first team here, he will take his craft elsewhere and Everton will make a profit on the player. Dont be naive to suggest Koeman won't give youth a chance, but the landscape has changed now at Everton. The bar has been raised significantly with regards to standards. Moshiri wants to challenge for domestic trophies, to win those you need top drawer players. Let's hope our academy can support that vision.

Very well said.

Can we agree from this point onwards to just refer to the owner of Everton are "Moshiri" instead of "Mr Moshiri" you utter cringey bulbs.

Just because he's rich doesn't mean you have to call him Mr as though you're writing a formal letter you mouth breathing kopite mimicking knuckles.

Listen you Easter island head. It's Mr to peasants like me an you. Know your place
