You're missing the point by a country mile filai.Spot on. How anyone can be having any reservations for it is happening off-field right ow is beyond me.

Are we rich though? Or have we simply caught up with our rivals.
I have no excitement surrounding this at all.
It's all words at the moment except one massive splurge on an overrated manager.
We've already lost one transfer target to Palace. Palace for gods sake.
Just as we thought we were under Peter Johnson, just as kopites have been on numerous occasions, just as Geordies have been.
Moshiri isn't bringing game changing incomparable wealth to the league like Man City's takeover.
History teaches us new ownership, promised wealth and success is more likely to fail than succeed.
As per my original point I urge pragmatism mate. All this is a bit too much too soon.
Oh yes it's definitely favourable compared to where we have been.
But, again, back to my original point. We are where we were 21 years ago. But without the FA Cup in the bag. That's all we know so far.
Hopefully it will all change and we will be genuinely ace and win stuff. That's the point to get dead excited.
No mate, as I've clearly stated, my view is one of pragmatism and guarded optimism. Which is prudent considering what has happened before, what is happening often in English football, and comparing his resources to those he's competing against.Mate the thing is - you don't actually know what Moshiri is bringing, none of us do, so in a way you taking the negative view is just as bad as those your taking the mickey out of really for seeing it as super positive
Understandable ofc given we have had back to back nob head owners, but if people want to be optimistic then where actually is the harm, unless your more concerned with being seen as an Evertonian who 'keeps it real' and scared of being tagged with the Geordie and Koppite brush

Good name for a cheap aftershave.Charlatan.
Fair points but I just see it so far as levelling the field a little. There's been positive things so far which I welcome.No-one is claiming we are the richest in the PL, least of all me - I've highlighted the difference in revenues over the next 5 years will be close to an average of £1bn per club over that time vis a vis our peers.
Nevertheless Moshiri has given us the opportunity to close that gap and compete - nothing more, nothing less.
That's a million years from where we were 6 months ago.
Miserable titheadFair points but I just see it so far as levelling the field a little. There's been positive things so far which I welcome.
I aspire for more than being also rans, I aspire Everton to be ace and winning stuff again.
The tone in this thread is that imminent glory is upon us, you've even alluded to it mate which heartens me.
I'd rather wait and see personally like.
Loads mate
Wheelbarrows full
Kopite.Miserable tithead
To be fair to me, I posted that from reading a few pages back and have liked a few of your postings since then I completely agree with. You're missing the point by a country mile filai.
